Regret to inform you that it has becoms necessary on medical advice for Mecdougall to take leave in the U.K. and I am arranging for him to leave here during the first week in July. In these circumstances, having regard to the shortage of experienced secretariat officers and the heavy volume of work, I fear that it would be impossible for me to spare Follows to visit London as proposed in your No. 324. Macdougall will be able to participate in discussions with the
Treasury and can furnish all the information required in regard to the financial position,
